The second edition of IR-EMPOWER, the community workshop on infrared emissivity measurement, takes place on 28–29 September 2026 at the Center for Applied Energy Research (CAE), Würzburg, Germany. Founded in 2024 and first organized by the Thermomat / HAIRL group at UPV/EHU in Bilbao, the workshop covers measurement techniques and protocols, intercomparisons and databases, modelling and simulation, and thermophysical metrology and applications.
Registration (per the official page): 200 € regular / 150 € students before 31 July 2026; 250 € / 200 € afterwards. Poster abstracts: due 31 July 2026.
