News · Access call
The Horizon Europe project RISEnergy has opened its fifth transnational access call. Researchers from academia and industry can apply for free-of-charge access to the research infrastructures of the consortium, in the areas of concentrated solar power, materials for energy, photovoltaics, energy storage, hydrogen and related topics. The call closes on 18 November 2026, 23:59 CET; applications are submitted through the project's ConfTool platform.
Among the infrastructures on offer is the Smart and Solar Energy Materials Laboratory of CNR-INO in Florence, listed in the call as CNR-IMA1. According to its RISEnergy facility page, the laboratory offers:
The laboratory indicates that access can be in person or remote. For groups without their own high-temperature emittance set-up, this is a direct route to measurements on a core-tier facility of the research map, at no cost.
Read the call text, choose the infrastructure (CNR-IMA1 for the Florence laboratory), and submit the official application form before the deadline. Only applications sent through the official form are considered. The project encourages applications from women and from researchers in groups under-represented in energy research.
