The 2024 EOS Annual Meeting, held in Naples with the Italian Society for Optics and Photonics (SIOF), ran ten topical meetings and a dedicated session on thermal radiation and radiative cooling: mid-infrared characterisation of materials, passive daytime radiative cooling, infrared reflectors and thermal imaging. Its papers form session 13 of the proceedings, EPJ Web of Conferences volume 309, among them the directional spectral emissivity of laser-patterned steel surfaces from the Thermomat group.
